The Hope Report: Revolving Doors’ impact 2025-26

Looking back over the first twelve months of into organisation-defining five year strategy, we can point to real progress. For us, this year has been defined by forward momentum and by a more grounded, radical kind of hope.

We have re-established Revolving Doors as a partner of choice, working at the intersection of policy, practice and lived experience to address the urgency of unmet health and social needs.

Across the country, we are seeing what we have long argued is possible: green shoots of a different approach taking hold. Political, social and service-level reimagination that begins to move us beyond managing the revolving door, towards ending it.

It looks like over 90 lived experience members working alongside decision-makers to shape policy, redesign services and challenge assumptions about what works. But more than that, our members hold us, and the system to account. They keep our feet to the fire. They ask the hard questions when progress risks becoming rhetoric. They remind us that change must be felt in real lives, not just described in strategy documents.

This report is a reflection of that progress. It is also a reminder that hope is not passive. It is built through evidence, through collaboration, and through the determination of people who refuse to accept that the system cannot change.
