Tackling Multiple Disadvantage – National Summit

Combining lived experience, research, policy and practice.

We are pleased to announce our upcoming conference on Tackling Multiple Disadvantage in partnership with MEAM. This will help us celebrate the end of a fantastic year for our Research Network, which has brought together over 250 researchers from each of the private, public and non-profit sectors to discuss how best to tackle multiple disadvantage.

The conference (8th & 9th May in Milton Keynes) will bring researchers, policy makers, people with lived experience, service providers and commissioners. This will provide a fantastic opportunity to bring all of our many skills and experiences together, helping us work as a collective to tackle multiple disadvantage.

There will be over 30 workshops and keynote speakers over the two days that will cover these topics:

  • Drawing expertise from lived experience
  • Achieving systems change
  • Understanding and responding to diversity
  • Fostering partnership and collaborations to achieve change

The event programme is now available to view online.
