You are here: Fulfilling Lives Case Study
Fulfilling Lives
Fulfilling Lives is the Big Lottery’s programme to support people with multiple and complex needs in twelve areas across the country.
Our role
In 2011 Revolving Doors facilitated a workshop with service users with multiple and complex needs from across the country at the Big Lottery offices. The aim was to bring them together with the staff developing the programme to help shape it. As a result of the service users input the Big Lottery required all partnerships applying for funding to involve service users in shaping their bids, and in the partnerships governance and delivery.
Involving expert citizens
Involving expert citizens has been a very important part of the Fulfilling Lives programme.
Revolving Doors continues to provide support and advice on service user involvement to the 12 areas.
Key to the success of this investment are the people with lived experience themselves: they are central to the design and delivery of this initiative in each of the 12 areas.
