Revolving Doors Agency shortlisted for UK Social Enterprise Award in Health and Social Care
National charity, Revolving Doors Agency, has been shortlisted for the prestigious UK Social Enterprise Awards, 2016. The vision of Revolving Doors is that by 2025 no-one will be stuck in the revolving door of crisis and crime. Instead people with multiple problems and poor mental health will be supported to reach their full potential.
Over the last 5 years Revolving Doors has developed and expanded its social enterprise arm, and now provides service evaluations, lived experience insight and peer research across areas including health, mental health, justice, homelessness and substance misuse. Our clients include national and local government, the voluntary sector, and a range of local commissioners.
In 2015-16 more than 50% of Revolving Doors income was generated through social enterprise work. All profits are reinvested into fulfilling the charity’s mission to end the revolving door of crisis and crime.
Christina Marriott, chief executive of Revolving Doors Agency, said:
“I am incredibly proud of leading a team that has developed a strong reputation for quality and impact through our evaluations and involvement work. We are passionate about fully integrating insights from policy, research and lived experience to provide a robust evidence base that allows commissioners and service providers to take brave decisions.”
The winners will be announced at the Social Enterprise Award Ceremony on Monday 28th November. The Minister for Civil Society, Rob Wilson, will present awards to some of the winners.
