Socioeconomic Duty Toolkit
This toolkit is a practical guide for Police and Crime Commissioners, designed to help them embed socioeconomic duty in their strategic decision-making. A socioeconomic duty aims to deliver better outcomes for people who experience socioeconomic disadvantage.
A socioeconomic duty requires public bodies, whenever they are making decisions, to consider the inequality of outcome that comes from socioeconomic disadvantage. Placing this at the centre of their decision-making processes will lead to better decisions.
