We’re proud to share our impact from our last strategy period between 2020 and 2025. From a world shifting beneath our feet during the Covid-19 pandemic, we moved fast and decisively in the face of a system and situation that was dragging those already at the margins further into cycles of crisis and crime.
Our key guiding principle? That we are led by people who best know the system and how it needs to change: those who have lived it.
Over the last five years, we have worked alongside government, funders, public services and lived experience leaders. Our members’ voices have been heard in boardrooms, in Westminster, and on the ground in local communities. We have shaped policy, produced groundbreaking research and changed thinking.
Now, we are at another tipping point. But we need allies. We need investment. And we need your help – to be brave, and back our vision.
This report is a testament to the power of lived experience. It’s a call to action. And we can’t wait to share our plans for the next five years, as we keep pushing until an end to the revolving door is in sight.
