Anna has worked with people who have experienced multiple disadvantage since 2016 when she began working for a school for children who have been excluded from mainstream education. In this role, helped to develop and support creative sessions for the children.  She has since worked for a homeless charity, providing administrative support to the outreach and 18-25 teams. These experiences highlighted how behaviour which is seen as challenging is often a symptom of trauma and systemic failures, and this is a big motivation for her work at Revolving Doors.

As Involvement Manager at Revolving Doors, Anna works supporting lived experience members so they can strategically shape, influence and impact on research and policy. This involves recruiting, training and supporting people with lived experience of the revolving door of crisis and crime. She organises and supports the growth, impact and reach of the Regional Lived Experience Forums and Women’s Forum (which she established in May 2020). Anna also leads on a range of projects including peer research and lived experience teams; and helps ensure that lived experience drives the work of the organisation.
