Revolving Doors Agency is delighted to announce a new 3 year partnership with the National Expert Citizens’ Group and the Fulfilling Lives Programme. This exciting new partnership will facilitate lived experience to take the lead to achieve real and lasting systems change for people facing multiple disadvantage, both locally and nationally. The project aims to raise the bar on co-production in systems change and to demonstrate how lived experience leadership and insight can change the multiple systems. The ambition is to influence across multiple and complex needs services and systems, from housing and mental health to criminal justice and substance use.

Funded by the National Lottery, Revolving Doors Agency’s role will be to support a team of people with lived experience of multiple disadvantage – the National Expert Citizens’ Group – in their goals for systems change. We will build on the members strengths and skills through training, including in peer research and communications and offer consistent support. To enable the NECG to have maximum impact we will broker relationships with key decision-makers across multiple sectors.

Attending the first NECG meeting in Birmingham today Andy Williams, Head of Involvement at Revolving Doors Agency, said:

“Co-production is at the heart of this programme. I am excited to be in Birmingham today to get to know the NECG team, hear about their priorities and develop strong relationships with all the Fulfilling Lives partnerships”

The NECG is the national board of the 12 regional groups of Expert Citizens in the Fulfilling Lives sites.
